PROFILE
SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Khan is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Jahangirnagar University, Savar, Dhaka. Dr. Khan completed his Ph.D. from Kinki University, Osaka, Japan in 2006 and he received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the Department of Chemistry, Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. His PhD work was on the field of Chiral discrimination and thermodynamics of interaction of chiral compound. The aim was to understand how chiral drugs works and interact inside human body.
RESEARCH INTEREST
Study of interaction between Surfactants / Drugs with polymer/dye and thermodynamics of binding between them. Study of rheology of polymer solution and effect of different ingredients on the flow behavior of polymers. Preparation of graft-copolymers and convert them into ion-exchange resins by incorporationof chelating groups.
