SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Sanjida Tasnim is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics and Data Science at Jahangirnagar University, Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh. With a rich academic background, she earned her Master of Science and Bachelor of Science (Honours) degrees in Statistics from Jahangirnagar University, demonstrating exceptional performance throughout her education.
Her professional journey in academia began with teaching positions at various esteemed institutions, including Jahangirnagar University, Pabna Cadet College, and Daffodil International University. Her expertise in statistical analysis and research led her to her current role as an Assistant Professor, where she continues to inspire and educate future data scientists.
Sanjida's research interests are diverse, Statistical Inference, Biostatistics and Epidemiology, Econometrics. Her contributions to the field include different journal articles, conference papers, and seminar presentations, reflecting her dedication to advancing statistical knowledge. She was awarded National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship 2016 by Ministry of Science and Technology, Bangladesh for her research work in Masters.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Sanjida actively participates in workshops and training programs focused on pedagogy and data analysis, enhancing her teaching skills and expertise. Her commitment to academic excellence is further evidenced by her involvement in co-curricular activities and leadership roles within various organizations.
