SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Mr. Mohammad Abbas Gani is a diligent and self-motivated individual working as a Lecturer at Department of Pharmacy, Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh from July 07, 2024. Mr. Gani completed his Bachelor of Pharmacy (Professional) and MS in Pharmaceutical Science securing first position in both the degrees from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh in 2017 and 2018 respectively. He was awarded 1st Runner Up of “Pharma Olympiad Competition-2018” at North South University and Winner of “Pharma Olympiad Competition-2017” at University of Asia Pacific. He received National Science and Technology (NST) fellowship from Ministry of Science and Technology, Bangladesh in 2020. He has research experience on evaluation of antioxidant, anticancer, cytotoxic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and neuro-pharmacological effects of traditional medicinal plant extracts.

Mr. Gani served as a Lecturer of the Department of Pharmacy at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) from January 16, 2022 to July 06, 2024. He also worked as a Brand Executive at Strategic Brand Management (SBM) Department of Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd from March 01, 2020 to January 13, 2022. He completed his in-plant training from Square Pharmaceuticals Ltd in 2018 and hospital pharmacy training from National Institute of Cancer Research & Hospital (NICRH), Dhaka in 2018.

Mr. Gani was born on January 01, 1995 in Lohagara upazilla of Chattogram district, Bangladesh. He was a student of Lohagara Najumunnisa Model Government Primary School, Chattogram; South Satkania Golam Bari Govt. Model High School, Chattogram; and BAF Shaheen College Dhaka, Bangladesh.
