PROFILE

SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Mazeda is a faculty member at the department of Geological Sciences of Jahangirnagar University (JU), Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh. She obtained her BSc (Hon’s) and MS from the same department in 2003 and 2004, respectively. She obtained another MSc degree in Hydrogeology under Commonwealth scholarship programme from University of Birmingham (UoB), United Kingdom (UK) in 2013. She obtained her PhD in Geology  in 2022 under Islamic Development Bank scholarship programme at the Laboratory for Applied Geology and Hydrogeology of Ghent University, Belgium. Her research mainly focuses on Hydrogeology, Hydrogeophysics and Hydrochemistry for Sustainable Groundwater Development and Management.
