SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Md. Abdur Rahman is currently working as a professor at the Department of Mathematics, Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. He received B.Sc. degree in Electronics & Computer Science from the same university in 2001, and MS degree in Computational Science from Texas A&M University-Commerce, TX, USA, in 2014. Mr. Rahman experienced working as a graduate teaching assistant from Aug 2012 to May 2014 at Texas A&M University, Commerce, TX, USA successively. Also, he worked in same position in South Dakota School of Mines & Technology, Rapid City, SD for Jan 2012 to May 2012. He did Master’s of Science thesis on “Multi-Agent Coordinated Path Planning using Improved Artificial Potential Field-Based Regression Search Method”.
His specialization is on Machine Learning, Cyber Security, and Robotics, and his research interests include Malware Detection/Energy Consumption Prediction/Image Processing using Machine Learning/Deep Learning, Multi-Agent Path Planning. Research interest includes Robotics, Cyber security, Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics, Image Processing, and Bio-informatics.
Currently, Mr. Rahman is focusing to do research on the analysis and prediction of energy consumption using time-series datasets (millions of observations), Malware Detection using machine learning & deep learning approaches (python, pandas, scikit-learn, Keras). Mr. Rahman is well capable to handle python libraries to implement his idea for papers.
