PROFILE
SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Abu Sadat Md. Sayem works as a Professor at the Department of Geological Sciences of Jahangirnagar University, Savar, Dhaka-1342, Bangladesh. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Geological Sciences from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh, in 2003 and 2004, respectively. Prof. Sayem obtained his Ph. D. degree in Quaternary Geology from the Institute of Geology and Geophysics (IGG), Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China in 2018. His current research interests include Clastic Sedimentology, Geochemistry, Petroleum Geology, Quaternary Geology, and Paleoclimatology. He has authored more than 25 papers in different peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
