Training on Spatial Analysis Using “R”

The Institute of Remote Sensing and GIS, Jahangirnagar University and Engineering Resources International (ERI) jointly arranged five-day training on the Spatial Analysis Using “R” at the university campus in Dhaka, Bangladesh from 08 -12 December 2017. This training brought together professionals from different government, non-government, international agencies to learn about spatial analysis using “R”. The training was held at Geospatial Lab of IRSGIS. A number of avenues were used to circulate the announcement about 2R” training so that wide range of potential applicants are aware of the event and can apply for the participation. The national newspaper, web circulation and the circulation on social media were the major means used for disseminating information about the training workshop. The national daily newspaper named “The Daily Star” published the announcement on 26^th November 2017.
