Swadhin Sen Professor, Department of Archaeology
PROFILE
SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Swadhin was born on 04 January 1973 in Barisal. His Mother's name is Sibani Sen and Father's name is Sudhir Sen. He completed his SSC and HSC from Udayan High School and Government Brajamohan College, Barisal respectively. He has obtained BA in Archaeology and MA in Archaeology from Department of Archaeology, Jahangirnagar University. He has done his PhD from Department of Archaeology, Jahangirnagar University in 2014 under a co-directed programme between University of Lyon 2, France and Jahangirnagar University. Currently he is conducting studies under a project on Palaeoecology of Bengal and on Structures and Processes of Heritage Production, as well as on full coverage surveying, geoarchaeology and excavation in Northwestern part of Bangladesh. Currently he is working on palaeoecology of Bengal and Heritagification and heritage studies in Bangladesh.
