PROFILE
SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Sushanta Kumer Roy (S K Roy ) Assistant Professor of Mathematics, Jahangirnagar University, Savar, Dhaka-1342 was born at Tangail in 1983, Bangladesh. He completed his B.Sc (Hons.) and M.S in Mathematics from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh with excellent academic results in both examinations. He also received SHARFUDDIN GOLD MEDAL and SURAT ALI KHAN GOLD MEDAL for highest scoring among all the faculties and all the Departments of Jahangirnagar University respectively in M.S Examination 2006 from the Department of Mathematics. He was awarded Ph. D. in Operations Research and Management under the joint Ph. D. program of the European Union Erasmus Mundus Scholarship. He worked on Risk Analysis Modelling using Fuzzy Mathematics in his Ph.D. program.
Dr. Roy started his professional career in 2009 as a lecturer of Mathematics, Notre Dame College, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He joined as a lecturer in Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics, Jahangirnagar University, Savar, Dhaka in 2019. He is now working on Optimization, Networking, and Environmental Management using Fuzzy Mathematics.
