PROFILE
SHORT BIOGRAPHY
S. M. Mahmudul Hasan was born in Meherpur, Bangladesh, in 1988. He received the B. Sc. (Hons.) and M. S. degree in Mathematics from the Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka, Bangladesh, in 2009 and 2010 respectively and secured first position in both the B. Sc. (Hons.) and M. S. (Thesis) Examinations. He was awarded "Talent Pool Scholarship Award - 2009" by Jahangirnagar University for outstanding academic achievement in B. Sc. (Hons.) examination. In 2013, he joined the Department of Mathemaics, Jahangirnagar University, as a Lecturer and became an Assistant Professor in 2016. He is currently on study leave for higher study in Saitama University, Japan as a Ph.D. candidate under a very prestigious scholarship, JAPANESE GOVERNMENT (MONBUKAGAKUSHO: MEXT) SCHOLARSHIP. His research interests cover Complex Systems, Crowd and Safety Science, Creatures Behavior Model, Pedestrian and Evacuation Dynamics, and Traffic Flow Model.
