RESEARCH INTEREST

1. Sedimentary geochemistry: to understand the evolution of ocean water chemistry; 2. Sedimentary facies and facies association: to recognize the paleo-depositional environment for both clastic and carbonate rocks; 3. Sequence stratigraphy: to delineate the tempo-spatial variations of depositional facies in the chronostratigaphic framework; 4. Diagenesis of both clastic and carbonate rocks and their application in reservoir characterization.
