PROFILE

SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Professor Sheikh Mohammed Rafiul Huque, PhD is the professor and past Director of the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has taught and researched for around twenty years in Bangladesh, Malaysia, and Japan. His research interest is organic produces consumption, organic agriculture and marketing, consumer behavior, agriculture supply chain management, environmental sustainability, strategic cost management, quality management, and strategic & entrepreneurial issues in policymaking. Meanwhile, he published more than thirty peer-reviewed articles, including eight book chapters on higher education, innovation in management in education, and entrepreneurship education in Bangladesh, published by Palgrave MacMillan and IGI Global. Moreover, he was a project leader and member of projects related to Organic Movement, Environmental and Rural Sustainability, Community Participation, Livelihoods Management, and Strategic Issues related issues in Agri-business funded by international organizations. He is an editorial member of the Jahangirnagar Journal of Business Research and an editorial member of Issues in Social and Environmental Accounting. Currently, he is a resource person of the Asian Productivity Organization (APO), in Japan, conducting training sessions on ‘Organic Agroindustry Development Courses in Asia’. Finally, he is a reviewer of the British Food Journal, Organic Agriculture, Social Responsibility Journal, Studies in Higher Education, Revista INNOVAR, Global Business Review, and IGI Global. Furthermore, he is on the ‘Member of Advisory Board’ of Global Business Review and IGI Global.
