Welcome to JU BNCC Contingent

Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC) is a tri-services para-military force and Jahangirnagar University BNCC contingent (Army wing), continuing its journey since 1976. The contingent consisting three platoons and continued its activities under Alfa company, 4 Ramna Battalion of   Ramna Regiment. The motto of BNCC is “Knowledge and Discipline”, and the spirit of BNCC is “The Volunteers.”

 

JU BNCC contingent took part in the prestigious Youth Exchange Programme regularly. BNCC is entrusted with grooming future leaders and finding the hidden potentials of youths, the well-trained and well-equipped cadets of the contingent are determined to render their services to the nation at any time. Every year, many cadets participate in national functions and training programmes, including Battalion, Regimental, and Central Camping, organized by BNCC Headquarters and different ministries. 

 

Since its inception, cadets have been helping in various functions on campus, including admission tests, annual sports competitions, convocations, national days, seminars and symposiums.  The platoon also organizes different programmes, including tree plantation, cancer awareness, dengue awareness, blood grouping campaigns, COVID-19 vaccination, relief distribution, fire extinguishing activities, etc. The Patriot cadets are committed to rendering their services during National emergencies and upholding the country’s dignity.
