Dr. M. Shamim Kaiserreceived the B.Sc (Honors) and M.S degrees in Applied PhysicsElectronics and Communication Engineering from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh 2002and 2004 respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in Telecommunications from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) Pathumthani, Thailand, in 2010.In 2005, he joined in the Department of ETE, Daffodil International University as a Lecturer,in2010 he worked in the Department of EEE, Easter University of Bangladesh and the Department of MNS, BRAC University, Dhaka as Assistant Professor. Since2011, he has been with Institute of InformationTechnology of Jahangirnagar University, DhakaasAssistant Professor and became an Associate Professor in 2015. His current research interests include Multi-hop cellular network; Wireless sensor network; Cognitive radio network, Renewable Energy, Big DataAnalytics and Cyber Security. He has authored more than 90 papers in different peer-reviewed journals and conferences. Dr. Kaiser is a Life Member of Bangladesh Electronic Society; Bangladesh Physical Society; BangladeshComputer Society. He is also a member of IEEE, USA and IEICE, Japan and volunteer of IEEE Bangladesh Section.
